Presentation de Danièle EL M'RABET

She was born in 1962 in Oran (Algeria) from a family of artists (dancers, singers, musicians, paintors...). Her Father, Pierre Gil, had a passion for painting and always regretted his parents stopped him from achieving his dream : to study at the famous " Beaux Arts ".

After the " pieds-noirs " exodus, from Algeria to " the unknown land " France, Pierre Gil became an official worker and lived his passion at spare time. He died in 2002 and transmitted his talent to her daughter.

Danygil painted as a teenager, until the age of 15. In 2010, 35 years later, her desire to paint again came back suddenly.
After writing the musical " Terre de Mémoires ", the inspiration came to her and the first series of paintings appeared, telling the musical's story.
